HORSES READY FOR ADOPTION

Gus is a 20 to mid 20's gelding at 15 hands. He is sound, kind, and honest. He asks for very little and gives so much in return. He would thrive in a loving home looking for a steady companion for easy rides and family enjoyment.  He enjoys trail riding and has gone on 1–2 hour trail rides with us, doing great each time. He is currently building back his stamina and topline with daily exercise and would be best suited for light riding. He prefers a bitless bridle, which he goes happily in.

• Up to date on dental, vaccines and Coggins

• Diagnosed with Cushing’s, well managed with Prascend

• Mild kissing spine noted on X-ray, but he shows no signs of pain

• Our vet recommends riding the horse, not the X-ray

• Enjoys trail riding. Max weight for rider suggested 150 pounds

Sprite is a 6-year-old Quarter Horse cross perlino gelding with striking blue eyes and a kind expression. He stands approximately 14 hands and has been in professional training for the past 60 days, where he’s been doing very well.

His trainer feels Sprite will be best suited for an intermediate rider who is confident and enjoys continuing the development of a young, green horse. He has a great brain, has been relatively easy to start, and shows a lot of promise. Since he’s still early in his under-saddle education, he’ll do best with someone willing to give him time, consistency, and guidance.

Sprite would make a wonderful trail or family pleasure horse in the right home.
